Eavesdropping I feel a bit intrusive, Eavesdropping on their private moments. As I both hear and listen, I cannot separate myself From their confusion, Uncertainty And grief. It is a vicarious, guilty experience. It brings back many memories: Death near at hand And death as seen From a distance.
