Origami Undone

INSTRUCTIONS

I unfolded the origami

Only to discover 

That I could not refold it

As it should.

The instructions were lost

Or in some other language.

Creases and wrinkles appeared

Where none existed before.

All attempts to reconstruct

This complex thing

Fold by measured fold

Resulted in chaos

And became a mockery

Of what it was

And I cannot make 

What has been undone

Whole again.
