Who Are You?

 

Do you come bearing the cross or the caduceus?

Have you come to redeem souls or minister to the sick?

Saint Paul or Mother Theresa?

It’s fortunate that my physical care

Was not urgent.

My emotional state is in peril,

To say the least

And requires immediate attention.

I would do it myself, 

But I am not able.

I lack the skills and the tools.

I am in your hands.
