Life is good and all is well
Sun and rain are dealt in equal measure
Needs are met and desires fulfilled
The world ticks on with relentless indifference
But, Then again ,,,,
Life turns sour and tastes of ashes
Skies grow darkened over desert and seas
Children starve and hope lies crushed
The world spins on with cold indifference
But, Then again ,,,,
You could develop a taste for for ashes
Enjoy the arid Desert and rain upon your face
Apples hanging low on the tree as
The world turns on with blind indifference.
But, Then again ,,,,
Maybe not.
