How much pain have I given,
How much sorrow have I bestowed
My careless ways have laid
Upon your loving heart?
You have forgiven so much
And now I ask once more
Bear with me down this final road.
Where it leads I cannot say
Nor when it ends cannot be known
But I walk with lightened step
And failing eyes made clear
With the memory of you beside me.
