Islands of Ideas
So much to tell.
So much to relate.
Molten lava words bubble,
Rising to the surface, bursting out
In pyroclastic fury,
Building islands of ideas
Into unforgiving seas.
Life as we know it
Evolved on this spinning globe.
Moved from sea to land
In microscopic stages
Invisible by human scale.
It took hold, then buried roots
In scant soil amid the vast expanse
Of open hostile ocean
Growing a verdant paradise
For new forms to evolve.
Now, building islands
For new life to take hold,
It falls to us to begin the next stage
To seed the land
And plant the future.
