Because
Too many “Why’s”
And not enough “Because’s”
“Because” is not a “Reason”,
Merely a weak “Excuse”.
My life suffers from a dearth of “Reasons”,
Yet the “Why’s” continue unabated.
Each “Why’” begets another “Why”
And I refuse to accept “Because”
For an “Answer”.
A tsunami of “Why’s” approaches
And I grow “Fearful”
Just “Because” I do.
