I never claimed to be sane.
Quite the contrary,
I have provided ample proofs
That my reality is just an illusion
Seen through a kaleidoscope
With myopic vision
In a dark room
On a Tuesday
At midnight.
It is apt to change
With the slightest twist of the wrist
All this confusion over
Other’s intentions.
It clutters the mind with “What if’s“.
Say what you mean,
Else say nothing at all.
I pursue dustdevils
I am a stormchaser
I am an explorer of rabbit holes
I am a tracker following trails
So, Go Away! I’m Working,
Although it seems that I’m not.
Reality is the story.
Simile adds to the story.
Metaphor is a story about the story.
Allegory explains the story jn other terms.
Reality is an empty stomach.
Simile will offer a fish.
Metaphor demonstrares how to fish.
Allegory will show a man how to hunt
And assume it will lead to fishing.

There is reality.
Simile is a simple explanation of reality.
Metaphor is a lesson learned from that reality.
Allegory examines a mirror of reality.
The Layers of Understanding.
Reality.
Simile is reality once removed
Metaphor is simile once removed
Metaphor is allegory once removed
Therefore:
Reality can be explained in metaphor
And perhaps should
Since metaphor requires a deeper understanding of reality.

You never will.

Why do people misunderstand me?

Why do I expend so much energy explaining myself?
