I want to sculpt. I want to sing.  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>I weep in frustration.  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>Piling stone upon stone,  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>Note upon note,  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>Colour after colour splashed on canvas.  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>In vain attempts to rival the masters.  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>My hands fall in futility at the task.  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>I want to touch the sublime,  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>Breathe ethereal airs,  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>Glimpse the realm of angels,  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>To tell the story of what I hear, see, sense.  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>Vanity. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>All is vanity and futility.  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>I am compelled to try again and again. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>To convey what I know to be true and real,  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>To bring a vision to life. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>With the tools that I have.  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>Words.  <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><em>Just words.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-link-color has-small-font-size wp-elements-3eeaf594e2737b5f11578ec106f1910a wp-block-paragraph\"><em><a href=\"http:\/\/pallimpsest.ca\">Click here to return Home<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stone Upon Stone Striving, ever reaching to make that spiritual leap.
